5 Reasons Why Companies must Choose Angular for App Development?

Angular has been a boom in the market for the last few years. Today it offers scalability, productivity, and scalable infrastructure, which plays a crucial role in supporting applications run by Google.

Angular lets you reuse your code and programming capabilities to build apps for the mobile, web, native, or the native mobile/desktop platforms. Components such as RxJS, Immutable.js, or the push-model behavior enable you to build data models and meet data requirements.

Let us start by giving details on what Angular offers and why companies must choose Angular for development:

#1 TypeScript vs. JavaScript (ES6 V/S ES5): TypeScript is a typed superset of JavaScript. When the TypeScript is compiled, it converts the code to the JavaScript code, making it easy for the browser to understand. TypeScript is one of the best things that have happened to the JavaScript ecosystem. It has given us the power to use OOPS concepts for developing web applications.

#2 Command Line Interface (CLI): Angular comes with a Command Line Tool developed by Google. It has a powerful CLI which can be used to create new projects, add new components, directives, pipes etc. CLI can also be used for linking, compiling, running, and hosting Angular applications on the local environment or build them for specific environments. CLI comes with a pre-bundled Webpack. Any individual can install the CLI by using NPM with the following command:npm install -g @angular/cli

#3 Single Page Applications (SPAs): Angular projects are single page applications. Now the question is how to build more robust, fast, and reactive application? In case of traditional web apps, every time an app calls the server, the latter renders a new HTML web page. By this we mean the browser triggers a page refresh.

However, in case of single-page applications, the interactions with the server happen with the help of AJAX calls. AJAX calls are usually in the JSON format and update the page dynamically without loading the page.

SPA applications are fluid and responsive and enable a page to reload without any interruption. There are many other advantages of single page applications which are not well known.

SPAs have separate presentation and application layer which makes it easier for the developer to design and evolve the application. The developer only needs to change the HTML markup without changing the logical code. In the presentation layer, the HTML mark-ups and application layer is involved with the AJAX requests and JSON responses. Once the page is reloaded, the server acts as a service layer to inform the application about the HTTP/HTTPS requests sent. It means that the backend and the frontend are independent of each other. If any one of them is changed, the other can’t be manipulated without changing the API or the service layer.

#4 No Fragmentation: There is no concept of fragmentation in the Angular community. Almost all applications use Angular CLI, router, etc. This uniformity leads to consistency. So when a new developer joins the community he can become productive in a few days.

#5 Open-source and Support: Angular is an open-source framework backed up by Google. A new version of the framework is released every six months which means that the Angular community is not only growing in numbers but is also advancing in the field.

Angular is quickly becoming a dominant open-source framework for the web, mobile web, native mobile, and native desktop app development.
